ABSTRACT

Contrary to the hopes of advocates of the Revolution in Military Affairs (RMA), the US Navy has seen little innovation since the Cold War. Despite considerable change, the Navy is basically a smaller and no less expensive version of what the United States bought during the Cold War. This chapter demonstrates this point and explains its cause.1
