The world is witnessing a tremendous change in global communication. Thanks to the emergence of telecommunication technology, people everywhere can, in theory, communicate with each other in real time regardless of distance. However, communication is not merely a matter of technology. It is embedded into much more profound political, cultural and psychological contexts. Memory, more exactly, collective memory, is one of these configurations.
