ABSTRACT
Stay-in-place formwork can be used to improve the constructability and durability of the concrete that it encases.The formwork components are assembled onsite, braced and the concrete is then poured. After the concrete has gained sufficient strength, the bracing is removed and the stay-in-place formwork remains, providing an exterior shell.
