ABSTRACT
The Swire Properties Limited One Island East (OIE) Tower design and construction project in Hong Kong is one of the most substantial building information modelling (BIM) implementations ever undertaken. The owner, Swire Properties Limited, commissioned Gehry Technologies (GT) to put into place a robust implementation of new BIM technologies and working methods to help to lower the cost of construction, by enhancing efficiency and reducing waste across the entire process.
