ABSTRACT

Local and national government policy in England under New Labour has emphasized the value of collaborative networking across many fields, including in relation to the more equitable and effective provision of educational services. This is a particularly interesting case in the context of increasingly global and business-related provision of ‘public’ services affecting many countries.
