ABSTRACT

On April 2, 2006, Bishop Craig Johnson of the Minneapolis Area Synod paid a visit to LCCR. He had been invited by the LCCR council to speak to the adult education class about the status of Pastor Mary Albing and the relationship of LCCR and the ELCA in general. Mary had sent out meeting notices and cancelled the Saturday and early morning worship services so attendance would be maximized. My wife and I arrived just after nine o’clock on that rainy, gray Sunday morning.
