ABSTRACT
Electronic Resource Management (ERM) systems are inundating the library marketplace. Both Integrated Library System (ILS) vendors and Public Access Management Services (PAMS) offer commercial options for their library customers. In addition, homegrown and open source solutions are also part of the ERM landscape. So, why do libraries need an ERM system?
