ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: This short note describes the context of regional and continent wide hydrogeological mapping in Africa. In particular it introduces the new hydrogeological map for Africa derived from the Worldwide Hydrogeological Mapping and Assessment Programme (WHYMAP, 2008).
