Voices of Our Youth: Antiracist Social Justice Theater Arts Makes a Difference in the Classroom


This chapter section tells an abbreviated story of the makings of an antiracist “arts” educator. Giving an example of this process may support interested educators at whatever level they desire to integrate or transform curriculum to be culturally and creatively responsive. In this chapter section the voice of the storyteller is established, and the tone is set for the storyteller’s analysis that is interjected throughout the following sections to assist the reader in synthesizing what was learned through the actions and voices of students.
