Biodynamic massage, an integral part of biodynamic psychology, is a holistic form of body therapy based on the assumption that emotional, mental and physical health depends on the free flow of our life-force. The biodynamic massage therapist listens with his hands to the distressed body tissues and opens with his touch blockages that hamper the free flow of the life-force. Biodynamic massage is primarily concerned with detecting blockages that have occurred due to unexpressed and repressed emotional energy. In conjunction with or integrated into a psychotherapeutic process it can be a powerful tool for change.
