I came looking for recipes and I found a new way of looking at the world, where I feel more accepted, less anxious, and more capable of seeing and using resources.

A participant (2001)

We would like to invite the reader to share with us our experience of creating and recreating a collaborative learning community intended to introduce postmodern and social constructionist ideas into a school setting. Th is community included the facilitators, the organizers, and the participants, who were teachers, school administrators, and Montessori guides. All these voices are present in this chapter.
