LONG—TERM BEHAVIOR OF PRESTRESSED GIRDER SLABS IN CATTLE STABLES
In recent years the assessment of the long-term behavior of existing structures has become increasingly important as damages due to time-dependent deterioration processes have occurred in large numbers. Although structural reliability considerations based on modern probabilistic methods have been applied in structural engineering in the last decades, general approaches to assess the reliability of existing structures are not yet available (see e.g. CEB, 1989, DABI, 1988). Furthermore the knowledge about the deteriorating processes is not yet sufficiently developed.
