ABSTRACT

This interview was undertaken in the summer of 1984: it was organised by Tim Bevan and Sarah Radclyffe of Aldabra Productions (now Working Title) to promote Donald Cammell’s then current script, The Last Video, which was never filmed. It was a hot night in Chelsea: Cammell was staying in Don Boyd’s second-floor flat in Cadogan Street. There were a few people when I arrived, but they were soon dispelled, after which we got stoned and talked about many things.
