ABSTRACT
Structured data is data that can be easily stored in a computer repository such as a relational database. Most of this data comprises numbers or simple text. Structured data is usually fixed in length or at least has an upper limit. It is easily encoded using some simple transformation to and from the binary code and is usually stored in a coded format.
