Pages 10

There are many investigators all around the world conducting research on problems related to global climate change. By far the largest effort is being directed at the physical science aspects of the problem: understanding the operation and likely future response of the atmosphere and the oceans. There is also work being done to understand how a changed atmosphere and climate might affect plants and managed and unmanaged ecosystems. Social scientists are studying die potential economic and other social implications of climate change.
