ABSTRACT

This research aims at the design, numerical simulation and analysis of a nozzle with included possibility to achieve vectorised thrust. The nozzle is envisaged as a part of marine propulsion system. For the purposes of current study, specific nozzle geometry is achieved together with a code for its numerical modelling and analysis. Both are implemented into Fluent, for the purposes to visualize and analyze in details all specifics of streamed nozzle surfaces. The obtained results are very promising and show higher efficiency. The accomplished research is very important for the future development of innovative propulsion technologies for water vehicles.
