ABSTRACT

Results of investigated air-water two-phase flow behaviour in a horizontal pipe with a diameter of 70 mm and in annular geometries (diameter ratio: 0.71 and 0.86) with concentric and eccentric inner pipe are presented. The flow regimes, pressure losses and film thickness distributions in the pipe and the annuli are compared. Moreover, the first results of steam-water experiments in eccentric annuli (pipe diameter : 50 mm, diameter ratio : 0.68 and 0.86) are presented.
