ABSTRACT
This overview of serials operations at the centennial of the University of Idaho Library provides insights into management and bibliographic control questions in a constantly changing environment. As we examine our operations and services throughout this period, we discover the cyclical nature of management trends. Although automation has helped maximize efficiency, the fundamental premise of providing service to the collection is unchanged. This focus on service continues to challenge us to strive for improved access through complex systems.
