ABSTRACT
Internet of Things (IoT) refers to connecting changing gadgets and physical items over the Internet. This chapter explains the components of the Internet of Things. It deals with various categories used in the IoT as well as some key terms defined for them. It is essentially an extension of the services provided by the electronic world. This section further explains the structure of the IoT. For example, when all the home appliances in our daily lives are done in the electronic world, it can be called “smart home” on the IoT environment. The IoT is not just a vision of the future. It is continuing and has an impact on more than just technology development.
