ABSTRACT
The man-made island, created in Dubai, UAE in the shape of a palm tree is known as the 8th Wonder of the World.
The complex of the islands that is called “The Palm Jumeirah” was artificially reclaimed of sand in the Arabian Gulf approximately 30 km away from the center of Dubai (Fig. 1).
