ABSTRACT

This chapter deals with a novel surgical technique in which preoperative computed tomography (CT) is used to measure the direction of the epiphyseal displacement with reference to the rotational alignment of the femoral condyle, and some varus or valgus correction is added to the flexion osteotomy, which is extremely helpful in slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE), which is a modified three-dimensional (3-D) osteotomy.
