ABSTRACT
This chapter narrates its experience in cementless, modular total hip arthroplasty (THA) combined with transverse subtrochanteric shortening osteotomy as an effective and sound, reliable technique with high rates of successful fixation of the implants and satisfactory clinical outcomes.
