59Dr Paola Franciosi created and led the psychotherapy service at HMP Holloway for twenty-five years. In this chapter she and Karen Rowe, one of her former trainees, discuss the origins of the service, the difficulties she encountered and reflect on what she learned about forensic practice and the future of work with female offenders.
