ABSTRACT
These papers, which were presented in connection with the 115th anniversary chartering of the University of California and the symposium marking the 20th anniversary of the University's Education Abroad Program, have been devoted to the theme of international education and what it means to universities like our own and those abroad, what the potentialities for various disciplines are, and how we can strengthen the ties that bind us through international exchange.
