ABSTRACT
They are Saif ibn Aisa, Bulala ibn Aisa, Darman ibn Aisa, N’gal ibn Aisa, Duku ibn Aisa, Mani ibn Aisa, Jidi ibn Aisa. Their mother was Aisa, daughter of the King of Baghdad. Saif was descended from Abraha. The reason that he was called Saif was that there was war between Abraha King of Yaman, and the King of Baghdad. The latter defeated Abraha; Abraha went to Yaman and got 1,000 elephants, and intended to attack Mecca, but God sent the Abulbil birds. Every bird had three stones, one in its mouth, and one in each claw. Abraha’s army were all killed, but he and his slave escaped and returned to Yaman. The birds followed them pelting them with stones.
