DELIVERY ROOM MANAGEMENT The perinatal period is the riskiest time in a child’s life (1-3). Every newborn has the right to a resuscitation performed at a high level of competence. A competent resuscitation means that the proper equipment and well-trained personnel must be at every delivery. Necessary equipment is shown in Table 28.1.
