ABSTRACT
Tripos is a two-person game whose play takes place on the colored 3 × 3 grid shown in Figure 1. One player uses pennies and the other player uses dimes. The players alternate placing one of their coins on an empty square. The game ends when one of the players (the winner) acquires three of their coins in a row, in a column, or on squares of one color.
