ABSTRACT
Consorzio CETMA, on the occasion of the project H@H Hospital at Home for the tweaking of a telemonitoring system for in-home patients by means of a remote control junction box accessible via web, carried out a research to implement the touch screen interface of the domestic unit of this system. The objective was to obtain a user friendly interface, putting the user at the centre of the activities. The quality of the ratio between user and used mean is determined by the ergonomics level. The most important requirement to determine this level is security, followed by adaptability, usability, comfort, pleasantness, comprehensibility, and so on.
