ABSTRACT
According to the Royal College guidelines, participating in a specific number of WPBAs is mandatory for eligibility for the MRCPsych examinations.
All the WPBA forms use a six-point Likert-type rating scale. The standard for completion of each stage of training corresponds to a rating of 4. Most assessment forms would also have an additional item to indicate the trainee’s global performance relative to their stage of training.
