ABSTRACT
In this work we propose a new multistep block scheme, which has been constructed with the aim to successfully tackle the numerical solution of certain types of ordinary differential equations. In order to maximise the chances of producing a good new method, the first mandatory step is to ensure it incorporates the best possible theoretical properties. We have prepared a rather detailed account of the new methods and space restrictions allowing, the properties of the scheme will be discussed in some length.
