ABSTRACT
Injecting amphetamine users who reported one close and continuous sexual relationship (n=70) were selected from the larger sample. Only 6 were receiving treatment for drugs, although 42% of them used a needle exchange regularly. The majority were, therefore, not in contact with specialist services that provided HIV education and counselling.
