Chronic diseases are increasing globally and are a serious threat to health and longevity in developing countries (Rachel, 2008). Meanwhile, the food habits have been considered to be important factors associated with chronic illness. Consumption of junk food has increased manifold, which has led to a number of diseases related to nutritional deficiencies (Manisha et al., 2010). Recently, consumers are understandably more interested in the potential benefits of nutritional support for disease control or prevention (Hardy, 2000).
