With the advent of therapeutic biomolecules produced by the biotechnology industry, the need for convenient, sustained delivery of proteins and other biomolecules has greatly increased. The ALZAMER DepotTM technology was designed to offer sustained delivery of therapeutic agents with minimal initial drug burst in a bioerodable dosage form for durations varying from days to months.
