and fuel cell systems in real-world settings. A key component of these demonstrations and deployments involves data collection, analysis, and reporting. NREL’s Hydrogen Secure Data Center (HSDC) was established in 2004 as the central location for data analysis and works with DOE and its fuel cell award teams to collect and analyze data from these early deployment and demonstration projects. We strive to provide an independent third-party technology assessment that focuses on fuel cell system and hydrogen infrastructure performance, operation, maintenance, and safety. The analysis is regularly updated and published by application and is summarized in this chapter.
