ABSTRACT

Right ventricular outflow tract obstruction (RVOTO) can occur as an isolated congenital lesion or it can be associated with other intracardiac pathology such as ventricular septal defect (VSD) as in tetralogy of Fallot. In some patients with pulmonary atresia and VSD the pulmonary valve may be atretic and the right ventricular outflow tract well delineated. Such patients may be suitable for interventional relief of their obstruction.
