ABSTRACT

Cancer, the uncontrolled growth of cells, is one of the leading causes of death throughout the world, for which the main treatments involve surgery, chemotherapy, and/or radiotherapy (Shewach and Kuchta 2009). Chemotherapy involves the use of low molecular weight drugs to selectively destroy tumor cells or at least limit their proliferation.
