ABSTRACT
You are about to see Jane McKenstrie who has been referred by her GP with a history of secondary amenorrhoea. She has had two hormonal profiles performed about 6 weeks apart, and both series showed significantly elevated FSH and LH levels with very low oestradiol levels. The results suggest the possibility of premature ovarian failure.
