382 Emerging Wireless Networks: Concepts, Techniques, and Applications

The radio frequency (RF) spectrum is one of the most expensive and tightly regulated resources in wireless communication domain. Recently, the spectrum scarcity problem has become more pronounced due to the crowding number of wireless devices and emerging wireless technologies. It is critical that the current wireless systems incorporate organic self-adaptive mechanisms to allow the coexistence of themselves and future wireless systems.
