In many areas of the mid and lower face, however, better overall cosmetic results can be achieved with different soft tissue fillers, or with resurfacing techniques and many other types of invasive procedures (i.e. rhytidectomy, prosthetic implants, and different soft tissue suspension techniques), while supplementary treatments with onabotulinumtoxinA injections can be used to enhance and prolong the final aesthetic outcomes ( 7 ).
