ABSTRACT

A radiologically guided approach is commonly necessary for therapeutic injections of axial extraspinal joints, due to the small size or the deep location of these joints. In this chapter, selective injections of the acromioclavicular, sternoclavicular, and costovertebral joints, as well as that of the pubic symphysis, will be detailed. Injection of the transversosacral neoarthrosis, which may be encountered in cases of transitional lumbosacral anomaly, will also be mentioned.
