ABSTRACT
The name “Polymer Ester” is usually linked to copolymers derived from α-olefins and unsaturated diesters as monomeric units (Figure 5.1). From a chemical point of view they are positioned between typical “monomeric” esters (diesters, polyol esters) and synthetic hydrocarbons such as poly α-olefins (PAOs).
