ABSTRACT
With the advancement of acoustic technology, ultrasound has become not only a
diagnostic but also a therapeutic tool. Among many therapeutic applications of ultra-
sound, here I would like to focus on its capability for drug delivery both in vivo and in
vitro. I will also discuss on the methods and issues for enhancing ultrasound therapeutic
capability by using sonosensitizers that accumulate at tumor tissues.
