Benth.) (Leguminosae) (Costa Lima 1940), a tree of southern Brazil planted as an ornamental; its wood is used for furniture, and to make charcoal (Lorenzi 1992). The family Cyrtocoridae, perhaps related to Cydnidae, has been revised, with illustrations and keys, by Packauskas and Schaefer (1998).
