Abstract This chapter reviews our three previous experiments of the L-ascorbic acid (AA) requirements in Korean rockfish, Sebastes schlegeli (Hilgendorf)

(Figure 7.1). The first experiment was conducted to develop an experimental model and a semipurified diet for AA requirement study. In the second experiment, the effects of different dietary levels of AA on growth and tissue AA concentrations were studied. In the third experiment, tissue AA concentrations of wild and cultured Rockfish averaging 400 7.8g and 51 6.8g were examined.
