ABSTRACT
Modern care of the pediatric oncology patient requires a multidisciplinary team approach. Depending on the specific diagnosis, the pediatric surgeon may have a primary role or a supportive role. In either case, surgical input is needed in almost all patients in order to provide optimal care.
