ABSTRACT
A 52-year-old woman was recalled from a firstround screening mammogram for further evaluation of an area of extensive microcalcification in the right breast. There was no family history either of breast or of ovarian cancer. The patient was asymptomatic and reported no lumps in either breast, no areas of tenderness, and no nipple discharge.
