ABSTRACT

Jesper Jorgensen, MSc is a space psychologist employed in the private space industry and a researcher on the coming Mars500 experiment in Moscow. His special research interests are in the effects of confined environments on the sensory system and in development of technological advanced countermeasures to psychological stressors in coming long-term manned missions. He has extensive experience in development of models and theories in cooperation between psychologists, artists, architects and engineers in space design studies. Member of AIAA space architecture technical committee and IAA study group on Space Architecture.
