Gregory Konesky is co-founder and director of R&D of SGK Nanostructures, Inc., established to develop advanced materials based on cross-linked carbon nanotubes for high strength-to-weight, isotropic heat spreader, and hydrogen storage applications. He is also a member of the Board of Scientific Advisors for Bovie Medical Corp., where he is developing an atmosphericdischarge plasma beam for biomedical and defense/homeland security applications. He has authored over 49 articles on a wide range of subjects including teleoperation and telepresence, optical communications, astrobiology, and plasma decontamination. He is a member of the AIAA, IEEE, SPIE, OSA, MRS, ACS, AAAS, and NYAS, and received a BSEE from Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn in 1977.
