ABSTRACT
This chapter explains some important points to consider for ergonomics in the design of aseptic processing enclosures. It discusses specific considerations for the product such as the scale of the operation, process flow, dedicated or multipurpose use, quantities being transferred, sizes of the containers, the method of transfer, characteristics of the materials, cleaning requirements, the method of sampling, and the manipulations required for the product.
