ABSTRACT

The objective of this research, based upon HeI (human-computer interaction), was to evaluate the Brazilian interfaces of m-banking sites developed for iPhone based on ergonomic criteria and cognitive stages. The following tec1miques were used in this method: literature research, heuristic evaluation, cognitive walkthrough and check-list. Once the problems were identified, some suggestions to improve the web sites interface design were proposed by ergonomic reports. From the obtained data, the conclusion was that the Brazilian interfaces of m-banking sites developed for iPhone present ergonomic and usability problems and the use of an evaluation method without involving users and great costs can contribute to enhance the crgonomics and usability of the site systems.
